I had the opportunity to brand the 2015-2017 Litmus Live conference. Litmus Live was made to give the email community a physical space to exchange notes, learn new things, and get inspired about their line of work. It was my job to feed into these feelings by creating a delightful and inviting environment for people to feel relaxed and open to conversation.
A landing page was needed to set expectations and inspire users to register. Immediately users needed to identify with the visuals the seeds of inspiration needed to planted.
An email design guide, sticker sheet identifying what role you play in the email process, a t-shirt, all stuffed in a custom graphic tote were what conference attendees were greeted with once they registered.
Signage needed to be easy to spot, clear, readable, consistent, and informative at a glance.
In 2017 Litmus Live was rebranded. The challenge was to create a unique mark that captured the essence of the email community through litmus branding. Ideas of community, process, creativity, and diversity were all traits that needed to be communicated. A simple review process made it easy to find our way to the correct logo.
